💙 Parents, help your struggling student shine!
  • EF-Lab is a supportive community of compassionate & proactive parents.
  • We help each other get results that matter for struggling students with Executive Function challenges.
  • It's all about IMPLEMENTATION, and helping each other take action.

✅ How EF-Lab Works

EF-Lab brings together like-minded Parents who are dedicated to helping complicated struggling students learn to navigate school and life, SO they can have a great quality of life now, and a fantastic future, full of possibilities, choices, and opportunities, where they can achieve their goals, develop their strengths, and contribute in ways that matter to them.

One of the most helpful things we can do is to be a part of something bigger than ourselves to we can reach a common goal.

EF-Lab gives you tools to implement now to start stacking small wins, which is HOW we create BIG change!

We are  compassionate, proactive, and involved people who support each other in helping students, to develop & implement personalized strategies that work, so that we can empower students to overcome their EF struggles.

And we're 100% private.
No social media drama, trolls, ads, or distractions.
Just real people who care about helping kids, without the bs.

Psst...

It's all about "Executive Function", which is THE most important concept adults "should" understand, but don't.

Results

As a member of EF LAB, you learn about:

  • Executive Function: How to help build the EF Skills kids actually need for school and life success.
  • Planning: How to help students learn skills to use planners independently so they can stop falling behind, and learn to stay on top of things with confidence, even for kids who hate planners.
  • Organization: How to help students create personalized organizational systems so they can manage backpacks, lockers, papers, folders, books, school supplies, bedrooms, etc.
  • Resistance: Most students with EF challenges resist help and resist doing the things that would make school and life easier. EF LAB helps you implement strategies that move students forward.
  • Relationship: How to heal and build a stronger, more secure, and more fun relationship with your child. Get more authentic buy-in and ownership, so they can move forward sooner.
  • Mental Health: How to help kids learn to regulate difficult emotions and how to build a vocabulary around mental health and emotions so they can communicate in healthy and proactive ways.
  • Advocacy: How to communicate with the school or teachers effectively, so you are heard, and your child is better understood.
  • Mindfulness, Self-Awareness, Metacognition.
  • Grades, Homework, Schoolwork, and Academics: How to help students build the EF skills necessary for success.

Why Seth Created EF LAB?

I've been helping kids and families for decades, and I've learned what works. I also know what doesn't work, and have seen far too many kids struggle for far too long because they remained misunderstood. These kids were often mislabeled as:

Lazy, unmotivated, procrastinator, you just need to try harder, you're making everything so difficult, you've got so much potential!

Well-intended adults try to "motivate" these kids with lectures, punishments, consequences, rewards, using logic and reason to get them to see the light, etc. But none of these give kids the Executive Function SKILLS they need.

Helping kids create real change is not quick and easy. It takes time, understanding a process that works, empathy, compassion, patience, and persistence.

And after many years of helping kids, I know this: Being a part the right supportive community is the best way to accelerate progress. That's what we do here. We have a methodology that works, a community of people who support each other to have CLARITY about how to actually help, encouragement, and hope!

I hope you'll join us today,

Seth
